Ground Based GPS Surveying

Ground based GPS surveying is a service offered by an affiliate compnay, Mercedes Surveys- an Eveready Company.

After a line is located and cut, Mercedes will chain and survey using ground based GPS positioning on the horizontal plane.

Mercedes locates a position for their GPS base station, then surveys it using GPS techniques to obtain second order control points. This methodology achieves an absolute value on base stations of less than 5cm.
